Ok, so my lil one will be turning 2 tomorrow and since her birthday falls on 4th of July weekend I always have her birthday party the weekend before! I want to thank Cristy at Paperlili for the super cute top she made for my lil one for her birthday party and also Melody at Party Sprinkles for doing such a great job on her invitations! Happy Birthday to my sweet, crazy, super funny brother!! I love this boy to death! He makes me laugh tons and we are as close as can be!! Today he is turning 29, tomorrow Brooklyn will be 2, Saturday of course is 4th of July and Sunday, July 5th will be my birthday and I will keep my age to myself!! LOL!!

OK, so I've been super badddd and haven't blogged in almost a month or maybe it has been a month!! LOL! I have Lot's and Lot's of things to blog about. Let me start off with my trip to Orlando, Fl. I HAD A WONDERFUL TIME!!! It was my first time going and although it was very tiring it was a wonderful experience! We went to 6 theme parks so you can only imagine how many pictures I have. I will only share a couple only b/c it would take forever if I posted them all. HA!


Not the best family picture but in the other one Brooklyn's lil head was cut off! LOL! My hubby is missing in this one too! Sorry sweetie (he took the pic)!

My brother sure did make me laugh TONS!!

Like I said I have way too many pictures to post so I only did these funny ones! We had the best time. Every park is worth a visit as I'm sure a lot of you will agree with me. I will be posting Lot's more b/c I have fallen way behind!!!

One more thing for this posting ....I definitely have to mention RIP Mr. Mike Jackson! He definitely is a music legend no matter what did or did not happen. We are not here to judge anyone!! I remember at a young age being in Monterrey, Mexico and begging my mom to buy me his Thriller record which is sitting in my closet! I sure did walk out with a big smile on my face! I was really into him that at the time my uncle who worked at the Anatole Dallas met him and got me an autographed picture which read "To Alita (what my family calls me) Love, Michael Jackson" ...I will have to take a picture and post it! Anyway, he will be missed tremendously!!

My lil one is turning 12!!! UGH!!

Man, I am having the hardest time accepting the fact that my first born is turning 12 on Saturday. I think it's because I know that this will be her last year being a kid, in other words there is no "teen" in the number twelve!!!! I'm sure you parents out ther know exactly what I mean!! In my eyes she will always be my lil girl!! She is such a beautiful girl and has a wonderful heart. She has made me one proud mom! With all this being said I decided to make her invitations for her 12th b-day party this year and I wanted to do something different. I made her a tutu and went to the park (even though it took her like 20 minutes to finally get out of the car ..Ha!) to take lot's of pictures and this was the end result ....

Hello Everyone!!!

OK, so I know I've neglected my blog but I'm back now and with lot's of things to share so I will have at least 2 postings today!! HA! First off I want to congratulate my lil brother for receiving his Bachelor's degree from The University of North Texas!! We are all super dooper proud of him!!! That morning was crazy!! It was pouring out there and the traffic was BAD!!! HA! So anyway, I am EXTREMELY proud of him and I wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors! I love you Adan!!

Ok, so I know I have neglected my blog but I have been super busy with tutus!! Talk about tutu galore! I am looking forward to the photo shoot this weekend and as soon as I get the pictures back or should I say CD with images since it is 2009 (haa!) I will post some!! What is your current obsession? Tutus, diaper cakes, anything crafty and of course my only pair of Christian Louboutin's!! LOL! That will probably be the ONLY pair I'll ever own! HA!

What do you think your name says about you? My blog name stands for my lil Brooklyn, my Lexi and me, fun and different. Once my logo is done I will post it. It represents the three of us and why not add my favorite color ...PINK!

Who was the last person you hugged? Brooklyn! She fell asleep on my bed and I hugged her as I took her to her crib!

What’s your favorite dinner? My all time favorite would definitely be my mom's Sopes (kind of like gorditas) but she rarely makes them b/c they take so much time. I literally have to beg!!

What was the last thing you bought? Hmmm, wooden frame to paint! HA!

What are you listening to right now? The sportscaster as I watch the Mav's beat the Spurs!! Go Mavs!!

What is your favorite weather? 70's, 80's but in Texas we never know what kind of weather we'll be having until the day of ...lol!

What's in your bathroom cabinet? Perfume, lotions, scrunchies ..too, too many things. I actually have to clean it out.

Who would you want to meet in person? This is going to make me sound like some groupie (not even) but I am super crazy for Alex from Mana!! They are like the best Spanish Rock group ever and I just LOVE them. Haaaa!!

What’s your 5 year plan? Maybe one more kid, MAYBE and to get my online boutique up and running.

If you could live anywhere, even if it was for 1 year where would it be? New York, I just love the craziness!!

Why is today special? Everyday is special when I come home and my beautiful girls run to me. It just makes me feel SOO loved!!

What is your favorite sport to watch? Definitely FOOTBALL ..especially the Dallas Cowboys, then basketball ...which by the way only 1:00 minute left for the game to be over and we are up by 10 ...c'mon Mavs!!

Great weekend!!!

Ok, so I have to start off by CoNgRaTuLaTiNg my beautiful Lexi in getting accepted into the choir program at W. E. Greiner Middle School/Exploratory Arts Academy!! I am extremely proud of her and can't believe that she will be going to Junior High this coming school year. She has grown up so much and amazes me at how mature she is for her age. I adore my Lexi!! She wasn't so proud of herself when we left the audition a month ago thinking she didn't do so well. She always puts so much pressure on herself and I always tell her to put her best effort and think positively. In the end she always does a great job!! Lot's of thanks to my cousin Juan for helping out with the voice lessons. Here goes a lil slide show of one of my princess' throughout the years!! I love you mamacita!!



More GREAT news .... during the week I was looking for a toddler backpack for Brooklyn and one of my girlfriends told me where I could find it. It's a lil boutique in Oak Cliff called The Cozy Cottage which I had been meaning to stop by ever since it opened but never got the chance up until this past Friday! I absolutely LOVED it!! I spoke with the owner about maybe carrying some of my items and guess what???? She is!! She is the sweetest lady ever and I just had to give her the biggest hug!! So guys my diaper cakes will now be sold at The Cozy Cottage!! I am extremely excited and can't wait until it's all up and running!!

It is still under major construction so if you just so happen to click on the link sorry for the mess but Jessica from http://www.jessicamariephoto.com/ and I have also partnered up to get some great shots of my girls in my tutus for my website photos, business cards, flyer's ..etc. I am really looking forward to working with her and can't wait to get the pictures taken. We have been talking about locations and poses so it's going to be a lot of fun! I will definitely let you know once that will all be done. Oh I know I said one more thing but as I was finishing I thought of two more things. I want to thank my cousin Ricky for working on my logo ( you better be working on it ...ha!)! Many, many thanks to him as well. You can see some of his work along with the rest of his team at Sour Grapes 13!

Finally, Saturday night I decided to work on something new to add to my "I know I can do that" list! LOL!! FRAMES!! Custom made cute, different, fun frames! Here goes a picture and you can now order these as well!!
